Hey all, we have been approached by a youtube community to see if we would like to make a BF3 promotional video for our community. Here is a link of a video they did for another clan (SHOX - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zT46y1sRW1A&list=UUftK-tQH9-Pp68v6ImVbrzA&index=3&feature=plcp)
It does look quite staged and I would hope to get our video to look more natural but the idea was to get a clip done in Close Quarters asap! For this we would need as many people to be around to partake in the recording of the video it could take 2-3 hrs to do or maybe split it over a couple of sessions but we would like to start it this weekend. If you are going to be about either Sat or Sun evening from 7PM GMT please post here to let us know and we will keep you posted as to what is happening!

Also, I prefer doing it in a single take.
From experience I know it can get very difficult and eventually frustrating when trying to do community videos in more than single take.
People can't get on time for the second take, people forget, people have their plans changed since agreeing to something, etc.
For the sake of better success at this video, let's do it in a single take and not split it over a couple of sessions. |

I'm up for it!
Maybe it's an idea to start collecting some idea's what you'd like the video to be like. I'm not up for a bunch of guys yelling 'i wanna do this' or 'i wanna do that'.
My main concern about the video is that it will be too cheesy or clearly scripted.
- Think about player camouflage/loadout! Put some thought into it.
- I'd love some SHOTGUNS!
- Some funny C4 blowups @ flags
- Definitely wallbanging
- Knife takedowns
- Silent assasasin style squad with surpessors n stuff
- No unrealistic stuff with guys sittings 30Yards across and not killing each other for 1 minute like in this movie.
- Balanced match, no real dominating party.
- Should not really be a story, more a proper coverage of a match?
